I am finding it difficult to find the time to keep writing, but I must, if not just for my self. have worked very hard on the “No Emotion Spreadsheet”. Over the last six months, although I have not been prolific in my trading the results have been positive. I have had probably 30 trades in that time with a 82.5% success rate. One major problem I am still having, which I have not been able to control with the spreadsheet is trade management. Many of my winning trades could have been much more profitable in terms of pips if I had let them run to the area where i had put the original take profit.

I am finding that quite a lot of times it will do a small retrace, and I start to worry that it will return to the starting point and reduce any potential profit made to  zero. “Emotional” Trading”. On many of these trades it has eventually made it to my take profit area but i have already closed out and taken a much smaller profit. This has probably amounted to between 1,000 to 2,000 difference in pips taken and pips that I could have taken.

I firmly believe that I have found a system that enables me to create and organise places to take a trade, now I am working on how to take the emotion out of trade management.
